The Board of Directors is composed of the President, the Past President, the President-Elect, the Vice-Presidents, the Treasurer, and the Executive Secretary.
The Board of Directors is responsible for the daily management of the association and it reports to the Advisory Board. The Board of Directors can delegate certain responsibilities and powers to its members, especially to the Executive Secretary. It keeps the Advisory Board informed about important issues such as the selection of the time and place of the meetings of the Advisory Board and of the General Assembly. The Board of Directors makes sure that the organisation of programmed conferences is proceeding well.

Vice-President Conferences The Vice-President Conferences is in charge of the coordination and standardisation of the association's Annual Conference, Doctoral Colloquium, and other academic meetings. S/he is in charge of controlling compliance to established EMAC Conference contracts and guidelines.
